  • Neither, I use warm for everything - and the warm setting on my washer isn't that warm, but I don't like cold or hot.

  • I use cold unless something was thrown up on, etc.

  • I use hot for whites, warm for light colors with grease stains (pretreated with a stain stick, of course), but cold for general purposes. I always make sure I have a full load when doing hot water loads.
