  • Mine are grown now so they don't need to go out in the middle of the night, but when they were puppies I was always the one to take them outside because I was the main one who wanted to get them.

  • We have but we try to limit his water in-take about an hour or so before we go to bed...that way we're not up in the middle of the night for piddle breaks. ;)

  • Yes, sometimes we do have to let our dog out so she can use the bathroom. She is getting older, and it seems sometimes she has to go in the middle of the night..lol.

  • Only with the young pups. Once the dogs are over a year, they get it and we don't have to get up. If the pup is less than 12 weeks though we are setting the alarm every 2 hours or less...yawn!

  • No-all of my dogs are adults, but I put down a pee pad in a back room just in case one of them needs to use it.

  • As a puppy yes we would but now that they are adults they go out about 5 times a day. More if they need it but they should know how to hold it. Elderly dogs might need it. If you let an adult dog out at midnight they will get use to it and make ithard on you when you need your sleep. The last time our dog goes out is after dinner. or before we go to bed.

  • No. We take their food and water for the night at around 5:00 and take them out before we go to bed. Then they're good until the next morning.
