One minute we are at each others throats next minute we are like "sorry"! I ♥ you!

Had a huge fight with DH this morning. I said things, he said things. He threw things! He packed his things! Next we are apologizing and trying to get over it. I just feel mentally drained. We never fight like this, he has never hit me and doesn't have it in him to. But this is just too much. How do you get over it after a huge fight? We both feel terrible about this.
No the kids we'rent here when this happened.

  • Just be sincere in your apology, and in your acceptance of his. Learn from it and move on.

  • You have to feel terrible, apologize, and move on. Is this a regular occurance? If this isn't an isolated incident, then I would start having some formal discussion time or even find a counselor to see for just a few times.
