  • goes to show you they are judging by the color of the skin, because of what he looks like but his father is from "African" so he can be called African or at least half I guess. My sister-in-law is from Africa and she is white, she is an African American, if you go by where she was born, she is called or should be called "African-American" not because of skin color. Back then they did not have TV so when one is voting it was based on qualifications, not by skin. I just hope he does a good job, but he is not the only "black president". Thanks for the info.

Just, they are making a big deal about it because of his color. Which if you see how some people voted and stated they never voted but because of Obama and "my people" I am going to vote. Therefore, it looks like they are basing it on skin color, when it should not be. But it does not matter or should not matter but the media seems to wan to say the first black president or African American when they should do their homework and see that is not the case. But it's pretty neat to see others that were.
