When was the last time you were at the pediatrician?

  • I take it you've ruled out hungry, wet, upset tummy, over-tired? Make sure there's no tags poking him/her from clothing and that nothing is being restricting. Rock, bounce, walk around.

  • Take a deep breath mama. Put the baby in his\her crib and walk ouit of the room for a minute. Take some deep breaths and clam down. We have all been through it.

  • is your baby gassy? If he/she is or might be put the baby on their back and move their legs in a gentle byicle motion up and down, itll help relieve gassiness and maybe take their mind off of what they are crying about. Is your baby old enough to be teething? Is so the take a wet washcloth and put it in the freezer take it out after a couple minutes and put it in the babies mouth and add pressure to their gums. Is your baby grabbing at their ears/ Might it be an ear infection? If so a doctor can give you antibotics to help with that. Is he/or she running a fever? If so give the appropriate medicine in the appropriate measurements. If it comes down to it can you find someone to give you a break? A family member or friend that you can trust to give you just a moments peace?

  • Once you do what mommytoJames suggested (which is the only way I kept my sanity when my kid was younger), just pick her up and hold her. Newborns cry.
