  • between two businesses, owning a home, DH also being an Ind. Contractor....we have our accountant do our taxes. Finally on Feb 14th we can submit them, it's frustrating that home owners have to wait until then.

  • I have done my own for the past three years. I got tired of paying $400-$500 for something that I knew I could do myself. Mom2Jack, just an FYI, you can submit your state return now. It is just Federal that you have to wait for. We filed mid January for state and already received our refund via direct deposit.

  • have someone do them for us

  • We do them ourselves. But they are pretty simple. If they were more complicated we'd probably pay to get them done.

  • I used to until H&R Block screwed us over.
We had to use Jackson Hewitt this year because we really needed the money fast.

I'm i'm learning from a friend right now how to do my own taxes. Better believe I'll be doing them myself from here on out.
