  • cardboard heart people with googly eyes and pipe cleaner arms and legs

    simple bean bag heart (even 6 yr olds can sew if you use the right material)

  • homemade dough (white and red) show hoe combining can make pink, or use any other colors, cook dough in oven and display (you can paint after dry)

  • I seen this list of holiday printable crafts at http://www.babymingle.com/baby-holidaycrafts.shtml those were for adults to make though and they were for all the different holidays including valentines, if you look at their menu there is a list of printable kids crafts too that your child could make at home with just the materials you have at home.
