What age do you get rid of a pasifer?

I saw a 4 yr  with one.

  • I tossed them around 18 months as soon as we got back from Michigan. I wanted them to have them on the plane to help with ear pressure. Otherwise I would have gotten rid of them sooner. And yes, I think 4 is too old. I was already noticing with them having them at 18 months it was starting to hinder them wanting to talk...

  • I tried to take it away at 1, which is when I think is ideal. But we all know ideal doesn't always happen, so I took it away a week before her 2nd birthday.

  • My DS never took one so I didn't have this problem. I think 18 months is old enough.

  • i took both of my kids at 18 months. I think I worried about nothing taking it from them. They did fine with this transition.
