  • No, it's not. You definitely need to talk to your doctor about it.

  • I have never had pain from the epidural, but I do get back pain that i had never experienced before having the epidural, also a friend of mine has back pain from having one too. I think that is normal, they tell you its going to happen but if you are having serious pain id talk to the dr about it, just to be safe.

  • I had a spinal block..its a little bigger than an epi..

and i didnt have anything go wrong.

but my ds said indeed it messed her back up..and caused pain after her kids were born

the doctor told her ...its because she lost the baby weight so just messed her back up..

she dont beleive it and swears up and down it was the epi...

  • I do. I have terrible pain sometimes. The epi was not a good thing for me. It wore off and i ended up getting a c-section and when they put more in, I felt it pour into my back and it caused serious pain . . almost like back spasms. Now, every day when I get out of bed, my back is super stiff and I walk like an old lady at first, all bent over until it loosens up. I am about to start exercising and I'm hoping it will help, but i doubt it. I really hated the epidural, it wasn't there when I needed it and it made me throw up over and over again.
