When you make cupcakes do you buy the special holiday cupcake liners?

  • NO. Why pay extra for something that is going to get pulled off and go in the garbage. It's the top of the cupcake that people notice, not the wrapper.

  • I do! I also keep silver ones and just plain white ones on hand as well. They don't cost much more than regular ones, and I think they just make the cupcakes more special. My DD brags about how "cool" my cupcakes are :)

  • yes, i do. im a sucker for those things.

    for Halloween, i buy orange cupcake liners with black bats on them, then yellow cake mix with bat sprinkles in the mix, and orange icing also with bat sprinkles.

    for Halloween, i bought a pink cake mix with pink frosting & heart sprinkles, & were baking it in a heart-shaped pan. LOL

  • Sometimes. Or if I find them marked down after a holiday, I will buy some and have them on hand. We have a Mighty Dollar store here that usually has them for $1, but they usually sell out early.
