  • You mean putting it under high heat covered in grease? Most nonstick surfaces cannot take that high a heat, they start to degrade. Plus, you can't do anything better to a nonstick surface than what was done already when it was made.

  • Only cast iron needs to be seasoned.

  • I just remember when I was younger my mom always seasoned her non-stick cookware so it didn't scratch as easy or something to that effect
