  • Unless the tags say you can- no. I would take it to the cleaner. That's what I do with mine.

  • I wash and dry my down pillows at home. It just takes an extra cycle through to make sure it's completely dry and doesn't get moldy inside. If it fits in your washer, yes. I figure if Martha Stewart tells me it's okay then it should be fine to do.

  • You are not supposed to wash it, but send it to drycleaning.
    That being said, I had a friend in college who used to wash hers in the regular laundry all the time. I have done it, as well. It smells really bad the first time, and then calms down the second. Washed in the washer, dried in the drier, and then fluffed for a good 10 minutes.
    I got it so cheaply to begin with, that the cost of drycleaning would have been more than I was willing to spend.
    Am I terrible?
