How do you keep a baby from gettting contipated?

  • all the time formula or just breastmilk, and sometimes if it's needed switch to the non-milk type of formula, like soy, or ricemilk, but ask a pediatrician to ok it all on paper first.

    Don't give extra food or start to feed yet until about 7-8 months of age, it's not time for the digestion of any solids and it will constipate.
    So for now just do the usual formula
    if necessary add a bit of prune juice later after OR before feeding formula.

    Make a switch- over to a different brand but non- milk if it's caused by the lactose the real milk contains.
