  • I wouldn't say she's dumb, just... I don't know what to call it but I guess lazy would be one way to put it. She never cleans, she has "chores" listed for her kids and while chores at their ages (8 and 6) is normal the extent of those chores is ridiculous (she has them cleaning her room, as well as every other room in the house) and barely cooks anything more complex than mac&cheese or pasta or anything that can just be heated in an oven or microwave, she spends most of her time on the computer or watching TV while sending the girls to play in their room and tells them to watch their 2 year old brother. I've been friends with her for 14 years; I've seen her with her kids and I know she loves them and emotionally they seem healthy but I just can't get over how little parenting actually goes on in her house. I've even tried helping by coming up with cleaning games with the kids and helped her organize things.

  • Nope. I distance myself from people who are worthless.

  • Nope. I see no point in keeping stupid, annoying, frustrating people in my life.

  • I had a friend like this and I couldn't take it anymore so I just cut ties with her. I didn't explain myself because I knew it wouldn't do any good and I am so glad that I did. She would bring me down and I just didn't enjoy talking to her anymore.

  • Humm, maybe this is why I can't make or keep friends? When they act too stupid, I get too judgmental. I guess they don't tend to like that. IDK. I don't like when someone comes for advice, I give it, and they don't take it. Then come back whining that their problem got worse, and they should have done what I said. Makes me so damned mad.
