  • The work was easier than in high school.

That's about all I got. College basically sucked as much as high school. It was just less work.

  • You can wear anything you want to.

The teachers treat you like equals

you choose whether you want to fail or succeed. (Which could be good or bad lol)

  • i LOVE that you asked this question cuz i thought i was the only one. i HATED high school lol.

In college you dont get 14 different homework or class work assignments per day just because the poor teacher is trying to keep her 26+ student class from wreaking havoc.

you dont feel like an idiot every time you have to go to the bathroom

the relationship between the teacher and the student is more relaxed. idk if it's cuz the students are more mature or what, but it feels more like an interaction than a "you do what i say because i said so and that's it"

  • I get to study what I'm interested in in college.

    MWF /T TH schedule :)

I can make money AND go to school

I get to be around people with similar interests/goals (I went to a tiny high school... you didn't get to pick who you hung out with lol)

  • I can take as big or small a course load as I choose.
I actually CARE about my grades and doing well now.
I'm showing my kids how important education is.
2 days a week of school!
You're treated as an adult (assuming you behave like one).
Downside- all the kids right out of high school that still behave like they're in high school!

  • 1. I can leave campus to eat.
    2. I can do online classes.
    3. I can schedule my classes whenever I want.
    4. I don't have to have anything to do with the school besides classes.

  • It's voluntary, so people who don't want to be there can drop the class and let the rest of us have a decent experience.
We're all adults here, so parents' stupid concerns are not the prof's problem.

  • I don't have to sit in class 8 hours a day 5 days a week.
    I actually learn things.
I get to take classes on things that interest me, not what everyone thinks I should know.
I don't have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to go to class, I can take all afternoon classes if I want. :)
