How do I get my 16 month old to drink milk?

We are trying to get rid of bottles and have started with the daytime ones. But she doesn't really want to drink milk from sippy.

  • wish i could help. my daughter's using the sippy cup just fine (drinks ALOT during the day), but i still give her warm milk in a bottle before her nap and before going to bed (she doesnt drink it much anymore before her nap so i'll probably stop givin her that one...)

  • Try a straw cup or just a regular plastic cup.

  • genagina has a good point. I'll add a little bit of Ovaltine when my toddler is on a milk strike.

  • Whoever voted me down, my pediatrician says it's perfectly fine to add flavoring every once in a while to get your child to drink milk. It's not like I said how about you give her coke instead?

  • Point blank. No child need the breast milk of a cow.

  • You don't have to like the truth, but it IS that simple. It is the breast milk of a different species. I can not fathom how, or why someone could be duped into believing that it is actually healthy.

Oh, and adding sugar to something your kid doesn't like? Yeah, great way to get them on the path to obesity.

  • OH HEY SUNSHINE, I'M PRETTY SURE THEY MAKE SUGAR FREE CHOCOLATE SYRUP. How about you ever be positive on here? you're always rude.
