Once you've hit your weight loss goals....

Do you still have to work out as hard? Or can you lay off it a bit and do just maintainence exercise? lol
I have about 100lbs to lose.

  • Never lay off a bit, continue your routine so you will be able to maintain it.

  • YES you have to lay off a bit....saying never lay of it isn't smart. the calories needed for losing and maintaining are different. So once you hit your goal you would switch to a "maintain weight" calorie total for the day (which maybe just be 200 or so more than what you need to lose weight.....but also just daily exercise for overall health and maintaining that weight would be less as well, you don't need to burn as many calories, if you do you'll lose more.
