Quick, easy, tasty, healthy, packable snacks

Started new job. Get 2 breaks and a lunch...need to start packing healthy snacks and lunch...ideas?

  • my fave snack right now is grapefruit sections, I peel and section, take off white membrane and pack slices in a ziploc bag. I can eat two grapefruit easy, lol.. I also like pineapple and pistachio nuts

  • I pack a cooler for school, and I take apples with peanut butter (PB in a small Gladware container), celery with PB (same for PB), string cheese, Fage yogurts, kiwi (cut in half), Kashi bars, nuts, whole wheat crackers and hummus, any kind of fruit, leftover salad (I don't have time to heat anything up, so other leftovers aren't usually an option).
    If you have access to a microwave, consider making extra dinner the night before, and bringing leftovers for lunch. That's usually how we do lunch around here.
