The new battleground?

The house will be voting next week to withhold funding for the HC bill. This will result in a battle between the house and senate. Potentially leading to the shutdown of the government.

  • Potentially leading to the shutdown of the government.

Haven't had one of those since the 90's. They're due for a nice Gibbs slap.

  • There will be a lot going on in the next month and I don't think the Dems will like any of it. Here comes the blame game. It seems that a good majority of Americans know what has to be done and that doesn't involve new spending. The health care debacle funds being shuttered will be a welcome thing. I'm sure the Dems will be looking for the same results as the last time the government shut down but I don't think that will happen. Conservatives and Independents want to do whatever it takes to repair our country and will be understanding that it may be unavoidable as long as Republicans have a plan.

  • If history repeats itself, the Dems will put up a short fight for show, concede, and then sit back and hope it fails.

  • I don't consider politicians to be "mainstream" people, out in the community.

    They aren't the private sector.

    They aren't "working" people anymore.

    Unions aren't either, they're a "protected" class.

    Why, I don't know.

    They're thieves.
