  • Al Gore has a cable station? (yeah, that's my only reaction, can't say I even care enough to go look it up...)

  • I really like CurrentTV. There are a lot of shows on about news from around the world that you won't be seeing on national media.

Probably because they are so false even the left wing media won't show them.

  • Well, being a person who travels outside the States a lot, I've seen things that aren't being shown on the news here, and I have a good bs barometer.

  • I'm assuming that Olberman got a job on Gore's network? Good for him. Sure, I'm happy for him. Sounds like it's a perfect fit.

Olbermann, who abruptly left MSNBC last month following high-profile battles with the network brass, will also take on a management role at Current, the public affairs network founded in 2005 by Al Gore and Joel Hyatt. The veteran broadcaster will be be chief news officer, a role that allows Olbermann to help shape the network's editorial programming. ~ from the article
