  • It depends on what zone you are in and what flowers you want to grow. Will you be growing from seed and starting indoors? I don't grow flowers from seed, I always have a tough time with them, but here in the Northeast I will start my seeds for veggies indoors later this month for planting in April and May! But other veggies don't get planted until August...it depends on the plant and it's season.

  • There are a few different books that break down what to plan and when based on the zone you live in. You could probably google it as well. The best rule of thumb is after the last freeze, but as a pp said, it depends on what your planting. I live in South Louisiana so we usually plant our gardens in mid Febraury to early March.
