If I were to rent a decent 2-bedroom apartment in your city/town how much would I expect to pay?

Here it would be around $1250-$1500/mo in a decent part of town, maybe as low as $900 in a crappy area.

How does your city compare?

  • 350-500 in crappy area 750-900 in nice area. I pay 600 for a house on the outside of the city. It is nice but it is next to a cow pasture so it is cheaper :)

  • $800/month would probably get the utilities included. It's cheap to live in the upper-midwest, but the cost of living is low hence lower pay so it all balances out.

  • I guess I should have said "decent" meaning middle/working class neighborhood. That's around $1250 - $1500 here but NICE, NEW, places with great amenities, I guess what would be called "luxury apartments" probably go from at least $2000+ just for a 2 bedroom.
