No fabric Softner and just about out of dryer sheets and doing the laundry...

Sigh.and no way to get to the store until tonight.
Does anyone an idea what would be good to use as a temporary replacement?
A homemade concoction?
Like maybe something people used to use before fabric softner and dryer sheets were invented?
Thanks!! :)

  • have any vinegar? you can pour just a tiny amt in the rinse cycle and it will soften your clothes. btw the smell will go away once dry!

  • Do you have essential oils? You can put a few drops on a spare rag and throw it in there with it if you are looking to scent up your clothes.
