  • 1. Carve out time in your schedules for date nights. NO, a date night doesn't mean sitting in front of the boob tube for hours after the kids go to bed. Get out of the house, take walks, go out for meals, coffee...

    2. Affection really helps. Hand holding, light pecks on the cheek for no good reason.. It doesn't necessarily have to lead to sex.

    3. Speaking of sex...spice up the bedroom. Whip cream, chocolate sauce, oral sex...light spanking, etc. Be willing to try something new.

  • You have to BOTH talk it out and be honest about what is making you unhappy!! Some resentment and issues are the result of simple misunderstandings, others involve trust issues, but the only way to know for sure is to sit down and have a heart to heart chat.

If you or your SO are not willing to talk things over, then you will never be able to address your issues and work on making things better. I think sometimes people are too afraid to "rock the boat," but seriously what do you have to lose--especially when you're already unhappy?!
