  • No. Most doctors will only do 2.

  • No. It is usually only the 1st one that says how far along you are. Then SOME do the one around the 5th month for the sex. Mine didnt we had to pay to get it done.
usually with problem pregnancies they will do more then the 2.

  • I had it pretty much monthly with all three kids but that was because I was high risk of losing them.

  • Depends on your Doctor and if you are high risk/complications. I had one every 2-3 days starting in my 2nd trimester with all of my pregnancies. Normal or average is about once every trimester.

  • I am 9 1/2 weeks and have already had 3. I had the first one because I had spotting, second one to get babies heartbeat and today for my 9 1/2 weeks visit my Dr. couldn't get the heartbeat with the doppler so he gave me an ultrasound at no charge so I could leave with a peace of mind. I have an awesome Dr. With my first pregnancy I got an ultrasound every visit until my 30th week to check my cervix. I had a biopsy prior to getting pregnant. But most times I think you usually just get one or two unless there are problems!
