Anyone know how much it is to get a cap on your tooth?

I broke my tooth about 12 years ago and havent gotten a new one in about 10 years....I went to the dentist before and the dentist said i should get it redone but taht was all we spoke about this.

i dont have insurance that covers dental, any ideas of how much ? I hate my teeth...

  • Just call up the dentist's office and ask. It will be a different charge everywhere you go.

  • Check and see if there are any dental schools near you. They do checkups for free, or nominal fee, and maybe they also do this kind of work resonably. GL

  • I just had a PVC (porcelain veneer crown) done and the cost was $780. BUT costs to vary from dentist to dentist and also vary depending on what kind of crown you choose (PVC, gold or stainless steel). The PVC crowns are usually the most expensive, gold crowns are not as much as PVC for cost and the stainless steel ones are generally the cheapest.
