Does anyone believe in the 2012 prediction of the end of the world?

My kids feel that the weather this winter is a sign of something and are beginning to believe in the 2012 prediction.

  • The Mayan callendar wasn't meant to mean Our World is Ending. It was just the end of that particular cycle. And I believe the cycle we are in according to their calendar, I think we are in the 5th or 6th cycle. It just meant to them we are going to be going into a different cycle.

  • NOPE!!

But even if it did, there is nothing anyone can do about it! Everyone should live each day as if it were their last! There are no guarantees in life!! :o)

  • No they had an article out awhile ago showing that the calendar they were going off (Mayan) was interpreted wrong because we used out own math on it. Now no one knows if 2012 has already passed or will be 100 yrs from now. I dont believe the world will end anyway. Our lives and human population might go down, but the earth was here before us, and will stay after us.
