I am looking for a fast easy receipe for frosting. Im using it to make a care bear cake. Any help would be great. New to the cake making fun!

  • 2 tbsp milk
    1 cup powdered sugar
    3 tbsp butter softened.

    mix until smooth and creamy

    add flavor or color as you please.

  • For cake decorating, buttercream works best. 1 stick of butter, 1-2 tbsp milk, and 4 cups of powdered sugar. Color with paste food coloring for more vibrant color. You can also use cream cheese icing for better flavor: 8 oz cream cheese, 1/2 stick of butter, 1-2 tbsp milk, and 5-6 cups powdered sugar. Adding lemon or orange extract brightens the flavor without changing the color.
