How do you deal with this strong emotion???

  • Me personally.

    The one thing that has made it far easier to deal with, work with and accept my emotions is this.. I and I alone control and create my emotions. Knowing that I create and control them has made all the difference in the world for me over the years. If something starts bringing about an emotional response in me. I stop myself, and figure out why that is. Then it's easy to put the situation in a logical perspective and just deal with it, without being emotional (or being overly emotional) about it.

    Emotions aren't that hard to control or deal with, once a person accepts that they and they alone are the only person that creates/controls their emotions and that those emotions are based on thoughts. What we think directly creates/reinforces/amplifies/decreases our emotional responses.

  • avoid other people. sit in a room by myself and watch tv. go shopping.

  • I clean, but not so quietly, I bet if I went for a jog, it would serve the same purpose.
