Would you feed your 3 1/2 MONTH old a chocolate-covered strawberry?

Friend of mine did, texted me a pic of the messy baby face with a message saying that was what she fed her kid..kinda worries me, but I didn't say anything about it to her. I kept my CafeMom comment to myself. ;D But I am curious to know what others think about it.

  • NO. first off, that is too young for any kind of actual solid food. And second, not chocolate. And third, even strawberries are to be held off until later when their digestive systems are more mature to handle those little seeds. That is crazy.

  • Your friend is an idiot and should have tried taking care of a plant or a pet before jumping in with having a child

  • No, I wouldn't. She better hope her baby doesn't have some type of reaction to it.

  • At 14 weeks, even strawberries seem too acidic to be putting into that little system.
