Do you think it's grinch-like not to include candy in your kid's valentines that go out to her friends?

  • i see it's the new thing...we never did as kids. I am sending my kids with silly bands instead of candy, I'm so over the candy.

  • I have never done that. My kids get maybe 1 or 2 with candy - out of 20 or so. Sometimes one comes with a pencil... but that's about it. You don't HAVE to give anything you don't feel you should!! ;o)

  • It's the thought that counts.

  • I don't think so; kids get enough candy at the party.

  • I was at Target yesterday and was impressed that companies included pencils with valentine's instead of candy.
