I need to go to the er becaus eI might have an ectopic pregnancie but am not sure Id ont have a uti. when I go pee I feel pain pushing on something like against my ovaries I feel sharp pains and its in my lower back too. I'm just wondering if it would be a waste of time to go to the er because maybe they wont do an ultrasound to see whats wrong. I have cold chills on and off too. I dotn want to go their then have them turn me away and not do any test,you know what I mean?

  • I think you need to go and make certain everything is okay. It would be a bigger shame if you don't go and regret that decision later. Just go!

  • Did you have a postive pregnacy test?

    Etopic pregnancy would be a reason to go to ER a UTI would not be.

  • Did they do a blood pregnacy test? I know some people won't get positive urine tests but if they did a blood test they would be able to see if there was any HCG.

    If I really thought I had an etopic pregnancy I would go to the ER though to be on the safe side.
