how do you decide who will take whose name? lol. silly question but it just popped in my head today as i was driving to work.

  • I think they use both last names, with or without hyphens. I saw this when a Hollywood star adopted a baby. I am not sure in what order though.....

  • I think many use both names, with or without a hyphen depending on preference. Hey, even my heterosexual aunt and uncle couldn't agree on changing either of their names so they hyphenated! Haha. To each their own. :)

  • i think i just depends on the couple (straight or gay).....i never changed my to my ex husbands i am glad i didnt because it would be a bitch changing it back
