What's for dinner tonight?

I'm kind of looking for ideas. I need something quick with little prep tonight.

  • Baked potato bar: bake em in the oven, cheese, bacon bits, chili, sour cream....whatever other toppings you want!

  • Tonights menu is meatloaf, scalloped potatoes and/or a veggie and biscuits. (and maybe a cake for dessert- if I get around to baking today)

  • My 5 year old has asked for cabbage so cabbage it is.  Prep time is as simple as cutting up the cabbage, smoked sausage, and potatoes.  I let the cabbage and smoked sausage cook for about 4 hours, then about a half hour before I serve it I throw in some potatoes.  Oh, and I season the cabbage and smoked sausage when I first put it on.  Very easy and simple.  If I am feeling adventurous I make cornbread, lol.

  • Roast, potatoes and carrots. It's in the crockpot now. When I get home, I'll fix some mac and cheese and rolls. Quick night for me!
