What time does your 7 month old go to bed and what time do they wake up in the mornings?

I keep my 7 month old up until 10 pm so he will sleep until at least 6am.... but am I putting him to bed too late?

  • I think you should do whats best for you, if he sleeps until the morning, good, the key is to have consistency and a routine

  • I would say yes, that's too late. I put my 7 month old to bed at 7:30 pm and she usually wakes up between 7-7:30am.

  • i think 10pm is ok. I put my 11 month old to bed at 8 or 9 and she sleeps til 7 or 8 but when she was 7 months old she stayed up later.

  • yeah, my daughter sometimes wakes up too in the middle of the night if i put her to bed too early. so she gets to bed around 930-sometimes 830..then shes gets up with my 3yo son about 8 or 9am

  • My children were very early risers. Not only that, but I want to enjoy by children as long as I can. I can't imagine working until 5:30 and then putting them to bed 2 to 3 hrs later. Why did I have children then. I have always put my children to bed between 10 and 10:30 and they are 5 and 3 yeas old now. If they fell asleep at 8 they were wide eyed and bushy tailed at 4 in the morning. Not a time for momma to be wide eyed. Some kids need more sleep and other do not. My kids do not. If they don't have naps during the day then they go down on their own at around 9.

It is all a mothers choice. you are doing fine.
