What do your kids call their grandmothers?

My mom says she is too young to be a "grandma" and she wants to be Nana. My hubby's mom is Korean and so she will be Halmony (Korean for Grandma).

I think that's fine, but my mom is worried because the baby won't have "grandma" which I think is silly! It's just a name right? Besides both of my grandma's are still living so they can be grandma to the baby.

  • My mom is just called Grandma - sometimes Grandma Wowy (Laurie) and sometimes Grandma Bogey (my stepdad is called Bogey, so my son just calls them Grandma and Grandpa Bogey).
    My stepmom is called Nanny, and has been since my sister had my nephew 19 years ago.
    His other grandma is just called Grandma.
