Did your shoe size go up during pregnancy?

My feet grew during pregnancy. I used to take a size 8 shoe, 8.5 some times, but not often. Not I take a size 8.5 and 9 some times.
I was told this is normal, but how normal?

Did your shoe size go up during pregnancy?

  • OMG Yes! If anyone used to be a 10 and is now 11 I have a suitcase of new shoes for you. I was so thrilled that alot of stores finally started carrying my shoe size and went out buying shoes right before I was pregnant like Imelda Marcos on crack and then I went up to a 13 when pregnant and the only shoes I could find were crocs which I wore everywhere. I am now a size 12 and hoping someday to be a shoe queen again.

  • I retained a ton of water with my first, but my feet actually went down a size after I had my second. I didn't even know that was possible, but I had to buy all new shoes because all of my shoes were a size 9 and they were all too big. Now I wear an 8 or 8.5.

  • Yup! None of my shoes fit after I gave birth and I have had to buy new shoes. I am very picky and I can't find anything I like.
