What one modern convience can you not live without?

I would have to say running water. We have had frozen pipes for sevearl days now and they have finally thawed (I'm doing the happy dance). If we did not have plenty of snow outside (we've been melting it on the stove) we would have been really in trouble.

  • In door plumbing in general. I like not having the need for an outhouse and love the running water. I am happy that your pipes have thawed.
