I've read so many conflicting articles - anyone else happen to have a case where diarrhea coincides with teething?

  • I don't personally know because it didn't happen to us, but I've heard it can happen. My doctor told us to watch out for it.. Maybe you can check with your pediatrician.

  • with my oldest EVERY single time she got a tooth she had diarrhea... EVERY time. it did not happen that way with my other two.

  • I've heard that happens too. I didn't go through it with my DS, but I've heard of that happening a lot.

  • yep. happens with my kids. they also drool like crazy and run low grade fevers.

  • When my son was a baby, he would occasionally get some runny, green poops (not quite diarrhea, but close). Within days of having those type poops, he'd have a new tooth.

    My daughter on the other hand, has normal poops, but she drools enough to fill an Olympic-sized pool.
