  • it's takes a lot of effort to stay slim, do the hair, makeup.....moms are exhausted. But that said, I try. : )

  • not any more effort then at any other time in your life. I find that a cop-out.... not a valid answer. Unless you had multiples or a special needs child the actual parenting part isnt SO much that you can not take care of yourself.

  • All I know is that  I like looking good and feeling good about myself too much to let myself go.

  • Not all Moms. Sure I have about 20 lbs to lose, but I never leave the house without makeup. I don't feel I've let myself go. Just have some pounds to shed. I'm working on that one.

  • Why are some so judgmental?

Personally, I'd say I have other priorities NOT that I've let myself go. Not everyone has to look like everyone else's vision of pretty to feel good about herself.

Also, I concur with Iluvmy5--" I don't feel I've let myself go. Just have some pounds to shed. I'm working on that one."

  • It takes a lot of sleep deprivation..I know, because I still try to maintain..lol...but I mainly try and workout as much, that way..WHENever I end up needing makeup on, or going out once in awhile...I will know my workouts paid off..on the otherhand, I know that having 1 child is not that hard to not let yourself go...but cannot speak for those who have 2 or more. ;)
