  • Vacation? What vacation? lol. I haven't been on a vacation in years. We're actually getting to go back home this year, and our max spending is $2000. $700 of that is going to be for gas.

  • About $5,000: one week vacation for a family of 4 to include airfare, rental car, and food. Housing is provided for free by friends who have a time-share.

  • Last year we spent around $2400. This year we are looking at around $2000 total for both an adults vacation and family.

  • We don't take an annual vacation. We take weekends here & there. This year we're taking a big weekend away. We'll spend no less than $1000, but hopefully no more than $2000 - that's for cabin rental, food, gas, and activities.

  • For our big vacation each year about $5,000. Although this year we are going a cruise to Alaska and may spend a little more. For our small visit family trips we spend about $1,000- $2,000 depending on how long we stay.

  • Keksie - the cruise in Alaska was the best money I ever spent!

... We spend about 2-3k in total for various little trips throughout the year. Last year we went on a cruise (for our honeymoon) and spent 4k just then, so we went way over budget when we added it all up for the year!
