  • The zoo, the mall, the park, the playground, Build-A-Bear and craft stores sometimes let kids do crafts inside the store.

  • Our mall has a play area for kids. I use to take my kid there all the time when she was little. Especially during the hot summers here in Phoenix.

  • Our library has story hour every week - it's free and always a lot of fun. The park is a great place to go, and it's free. What about roller skating or bowling, both of my girls enjoyed doing these things when they were young and the are very inexpensive. Saturday mornings Home Depot and Lowes have kid classes where your little one can build things, they should have a calendar showing the projects and the age levels for sevearl weeks up at once. Also, check in to see if you have a local Bounce U or similar, those are oodles of fun.
