Valentine's Day: Love it or hate it?

I notice my mood always seems to get pissier the closer it gets to Valentine's, so I'm gonna fathom a guess that hate it would be my answer.

Your turn.

  • Could care less. Felt the same way when I was "involved"... it's just a day.. if you love someone, the love should be just as strong on any other day.

  • I love it, but I'm a fan of most holidays. I enjoy doing little things for my kids and hubby to make the day special.

  • It is another day in most senses. But I have an ex ... the one who got away ... whose birthday is tomorrow. So in a sense I hate it, because even when married, I thought of him. But you should treat your SO the same every day of the year, not need some commercial "holiday" to go out or be spoiled or buy gifts. Love should be showed daily all year.

  • I think Valentine's Day is lame. Do people really need a day on the calender to remind them to be nice to their spouses? It's special when my husband brings me flowers or jewelry or my favorite coffee drink "just because". It loses something if he does something because he's supposed to.
