  • I was always told not to give my kids adult robitussin so i don't know.

  • *Eeck*~... that is a tough one! And i know all doctors are different first hand... mine had me giving my babies Benadryl because they were allergic to their own teething

    Does your doctor/medical insurance have an Advice Nurse you can call?

  • You got your answer but for the future if there is a 24 hour pharmacy near you, or its still open in your time zone, the pharmacist would know. People often forget the pharmacist actually knows dosages better then a Dr., all that Dr is doing is looking it up in the computer, or calling the pharmacy themselves and then calling you back. Most Dr's don't actually know dosages of all medications for all children off hand.

  • I would refer to the dosing suggestion on the bottle or call your childs doctor and see what they recommend.
