Anyone know how to go about publishing a book? I would think you would have to have it copyrighted first but I don't know who or how to do this either.

  • I used www.lulu.com for my book. They handled all of that for me.

  • To get something copyrighted you can either do it yourself by going to http://www.copyright.gov/ or you can have someone else do it for you such as Legal Zoom- http://www.legalzoom.com/. To publish your book, you can either find an agent and have them submit your work to publishing companies or you can self publish. There are pro'sand con's to both and it really depends on the type of book as to whether you should do traditional publishing vs. self publishing. Also, if you need someone to edit your book before you submit, just let me know. I know a cafemom member who did an awesome job on editing my book. Good Luck!
