My dd's bday is coming up and i cant decide what kind of cake to make her

any ideas she is turning four and informed that she wants a snake cake...needless to say thats not going to happen...shes had tinkerbell, princesses,dora...i need something else..

  • Why not a snake? Make cupcakes, use cute colors of frosting, decorate them with cute stripes & sprinkles. A snake doesn't have to be an ugly boy thing. You could even use cupcakes on top of a sheet cake if you need more cake.

  • You should go to www.cakecentral.com they have tons of ideas there and how to's. My dd had her bday this last week and we did a butterly theme. It was pretty eay and I got the decorations to go with it at party city for pretty cheap (Garden girl theme at party city). The cake was alot easier then it looks. We did a two tier cake, choc on top and southern pound on the bottom and used fondant to cover it. The 6 on the cake is also made of fondant.
