Does sterling silver turn ur finger green?

whats the best way to take care of ur sterling silver pieces ?

  • Yes! It happens to my mom too. There is something in our body chemistry that tarnishes the silver. I can't even wear silver for a full day without it tarnishing. I can wear white gold though, so that's what I wear.

  • It is marked .925 on the piece?? Or is Sterling stamped on the piece?? - if it isn't then it may or may not be silver.

    I do know some people have body chemistry that does cause a reaction between skin and sterling.

  • I wear sterling all the time. It should be stamped sterling on the back side of it. It never tarnishes.
