  • NY Strips, homemade french onion soup, roasted fingerling potatoes, and asparagus. All of his favorites :) The kids won't be excited about the asparagus, but they'll perk up when they see that we have fudge (I bought it, can't make it to save my life!) for desert.

  • My husband is working tonight D: He will come home for lunch, but only has about 30 minutes at home. I am making baked potato soup, which is one of his favorites. My sister's husband is working too, so she is coming over for dinner. DH and I will go out a different night.

  • Old fashioned pot roast, cherry crumble for dessert. Now I just hope he gets home in time to eat it!

Scuba, that sounds amazing. Now I'm thinking my pot roast isn't good enough.

  • Mixed grill fajitas, frijoles from scratch, and Mexican rice! I also made a strawberry cake from scratch, in a heart-shaped pan and homemade chocolates!

  • We were, but he has a rescheduled meeting. He won't be home until late. We've been married 31 years. I don't need Valentines Day to make him a special meal.
