  • Try the magic eraser. Eventually the marker will fade, or the top layer of white paint will come off. It worked for me, and we didn't wind up having to repaint.

  • Use a little kilz or primer over the marker to keep it from bleeding through. Then, paint that section. My husband is amazing at making a wall look like it was completely painted. He has them washed. Uses the magic erasers. Patches andy holes and uses primer and matching paint. He use to have the walls all painted antique white. Now I have them using navajo.

I went through a period of OOPS paint and mixing my own. But he was right stick with neutral colors all basicly the same in the rentals.

  • Tear the wall down or move!!! LOL j/k Sounds silly but if you put expo marker over permanent marker it takes the perm marker off and expo wipes off easily. NOT SURE how it works on a walls surface, but it works on everything else I have used it on. (tables, flooring, cupboards)
