  • The worst personal story I know of is a good teacher from high school's husband died after surgery because they left gauze in him and it got severely infected:(

  • 1. A doctor , dressed like a naughty Nurse, can come into your room at night and shoot you in the face with a sawed off shot gun. ( instant death)
    2. A doctor can do surgery and donate both of your kidneys. (6 + hours til death)
    3. The can but a cast on your face and head without leaving any air holes. (2 minutes tops)
    4. The doctor can quit midway through a heart transplant. (you were dead before they killed you)
    5. They could give you ECT every 2 minutes, as a treatment for the common cold. ( Depends on the amount of electricity and your resistance)
    6. They can hand you the bill. (continuing Instant death)

  • well, about 6 months ago i was very nearly a victim of #1.....2 months in ICU in one of the best hospitals in the US, 4 chest tubes, repeated drainings of my lungs via tobes shoved into my back while i was awake, 4 surgeries, and dozens of IVs plus 3 months of self-administered antibiotics 3x daily plus another month or so of recovery and i'm beginning to feel about HALF as well as i did before i got sick. i now know what true pain is!
